The baroque Chalice with vine leaves

This wonderful 800 silver baroque chalice is distinguished by a decoration rich in plant elements.

The cup, in gold-dipped silver, is supported by a richly chiseled under-cup, where the decorative element that most emerges are the acanthus leaves, skilfully chiseled and highlighted through a careful work of burnishing the silver.

On the stem, on the other hand, at the height of the knob, and at the base, small vine leaves are chased in circles. Remarkable is the precision work of the details made by the engraver, whose skilled work is entirely worthy of the glory of the Lord celebrated during mass.
