The white chasuble with pallium that we see in the photos is inspired in its shape and decoration by works of the past. The model of the white chasuble with pallium, in fact, is the typical early Christian "bell" one, made more current by the round neck.
The body of the white chasuble is made of precious shantung silk, lined in golden satin. The neck and the pallium, as well as the decoration of the stole, are, however, made of papal wool with a pale golden nuance.
The priestly pallium with hand-made embroidery
The priestly pallium is the true protagonist of this white chasuble with pallium. In fact, it features seven crosses embroidered with golden thread on the front and back, the design of which is inspired by ancient priestly stoles. Each embroidered cross is embellished with blue and green stones, highlighted by hand-applied tinsel. Small and delicate sequins complete the decoration of these precious crosses.
The same decoration of the pallium is shown on the priest's stole which completes the white chasuble with pallium.
Pallium and stole are embellished with gold metal thread bows. Overall, this white chasuble with pallium appears to be an elegant priestly chasuble, refined in detail but without falling into excess, therefore a chasuble that is well suited to be used on the occasion of priestly ordination.
