An early Christian white chasuble for priestly ordination

Designed and created for a priestly ordination, this precious early Christian white chasuble is made of soft shantung silk and lined in light golden satin fabric. The neck and pallium are made with a particular brocade fabric with a flamed design, which gives brightness to the chasuble.

The brocade pallium

The decoration of the early Christian white chasuble is mostly entrusted to the pallium. It houses five embroidered crosses on the front and five on the back, each of which is decorated with topaz-colored crystals, pearls and set stones. A delicate golden agreman runs along the entire profile of the pallium, embellished, only on the front, also with golden bows.

To complete the decoration there is a trimming that runs along the entire profile of the vestment, and on which, again by hand, crystals are sewn

Characteristics
  • silk fabric, natural fiber
  • precious and bright decoration
  • stones sewn strictly by hand
  • comfortable and loose fit
  • the golden satin lining completes the vestment
  • the protruding stole recalls the decoration of the pallium
