Embroidered white chasuble in ivory silk fabric
Availability date:
Describing this embroidered white chasuble is no easy task, as it is a truly remarkable piece, rich in details that make it unique and that cannot be fully appreciated from the images alone.
Let's start by saying that the embroidered white chasuble is made entirely of silk and features a modern, loose, and comfortable fit with a round neck.
The front and the back of the chasuble are richly embroidered with typically Baroque floral motifs, crafted with three different shades of gold thread and embellished with small crystals and beads, all hand-sewn.
At chest level, the marvelous orphrey embroidery of the embroidered white chasuble frames a beautiful pelican in the act of piercing its chest to feed its chicks. This embroidery detail is created with a special technique, with the aim of giving the pelican a three-dimensional appearance, which thus highlights its figure.
On the back, the embroidered orphrey of the white embroidered chasuble frames a beautiful Marian anagram, embellished with twelve white beads representing the Virgin Mary's crown of twelve stars.
The entire round collar of the white embroidered chasuble is also embroidered with floral motifs and embellished with small crystals and hand-sewn beads. The same motif is then repeated across the entire width of the white embroidered chasuble, giving it a truly solemn appearance.
Also noteworthy is the priestly stole that matches the white embroidered chasuble: made of silk and lined in ivory satin, it features the same decorative motif as the chasuble's orphreys. The stole is also finished with bows, each with a hand-sewn white pearl.
