Early Christian red chasuble in damask fabric
Availability date: 10/26/2015
The precious early Christian red chasuble is made of soft damask fabric of a beautiful bright red colour, suitable for the celebration of Pentecost and for all the holidays of the Cross and the holy martyrs.
The particular decoration of this early Christian red chasuble is inspired by Byzantine models. It is characterized, in fact, by a square neckline and a Y-shaped cross, which adorns both the front and the back of the early Christian red chasuble. All the decoration is made with a red and gold brocade fabric, very elegant and precious. At the intersection of the arms of the crose, on the front only, a graceful lily cross is embroidered on red velvet. In the center of the cross, a pearl is sewn by hand.
The early Christian red chasuble stole
The early Christian red chasuble stole is also made of red damask and lined with a beautiful gold satin. The same cross that embellishes the chasuble made with the same technique is embroidered on the edges of the stole. Golden bows embellished with pearls decorate the stole.
