The purple chasuble for Lent

The purple lent chasuble is a very elegant liturgical vestment in its simplicity. 

In fact, the purple Lenten chasuble has a modern shape, with a round neck, and made of light cady fabric in a beautiful deep purple.

The round neck and the stole that decorates both the front and the back of the purple Lenten chasuble are instead made of purple velvet. To give brightness to the purple chasuble, we used a play of silvery fabrics and agremans, which go well with the purple of the velvet.

The same silver agreman present on the stolon borders both the neck and the entire profile of the purple Lenten chasuble.

The result is that of a very elegant, sober purple chasuble, free of decorative excesses and at the same time dignified. In practice, the ideal purple chasuble to be used to worthily celebrate the entire sacred time of Lent.

Lent is certainly a time that requires reflection, introspection and penance, but at the same time it is a liturgical time that anticipates the Resurrection of the Lord and should be celebrated worthily using liturgical vestments that are an expression of a wait that already contains within itself the joy of Easter.
