The silver liturgical chalice with chiselled bunches of grapes

The precious baroque-style hand-chiseled silver liturgical chalice features personalized decorative elements. The silver liturgical chalice is divided into three "sides" which correspond to different decorations.

On the first side we find a Madonna with Child engraved on the undercup of the chalice, very particular because it is depicted with a black eye. This engraving was faithfully taken from a local painting to which the young priest who commissioned the work is particularly devoted.

The immaculate heart with golden rays corresponds to the engraving of the Madonna with Child on the base of the silver liturgical chalice.

On the second side of the silver liturgical chalice, a Risen Christ was engraved on the under-cup, also taken from a local work. At the base corresponds a graceful chiseled bunch of grapes.

Bunches of grapes made using the chisel technique decorate the third side of the silver liturgical chalice.

Overall, this liturgical chalice in silver is very precious, not only for the refinement of the chisels and engravings, but above all for the highly symbolic and personal value given to the entire work.
