This precious baroque liturgical chalice is made entirely of silver and represents a wonderful example of Italian sacred silverware.
The baroque liturgical chalice can be divided into four sides based on the personalized decoration that has been created.
On the first side we find the pelican engraved on the saucer in the act of feeding its young with its own blood, a symbol of Christ's sacrifice for the salvation of humanity.
Correspondingly, on the base of the Baroque liturgical chalice, Saint Fortunatus martyr is engraved in an oval surrounded by floral elements of Baroque inspiration.
Opposite the pelican we find the Lamb engraved on the under-cup and in correspondence, on the base, the bishop and martyr Saint Ermacora is engraved.
Alternating with these two decorations we find both on the under-cup and on the base of the Baroque liturgical chalice some graceful chiselled bunches of grapes, well inserted within the typically Baroque decoration.
