This marvelous sacred chalice with deer is made entirely of silver inspired by the ancient designs of the Neapolitan school.
The cup, large and bathed in gold, is made even more solemn by the presence of the heads of little angels, worked rigorously by hand. But it is the base of this extraordinary sacred chalice that arouses wonder and amazement: a deer is chiseled in the act of drinking from the source, a scene clearly inspired by Psalm 41 "As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs to you, oh God."
