What is undoubtedly striking is the extraordinary sculptural complex that constitutes the stem of the priestly chalice. It is a Pelican in the act of wounding its breast to feed the chicks at its feet with its blood.
The entire priestly chalice with "Pelican" is made of silver masterfully hand-chiseled by our expert goldsmiths.
While on the saucer typical symbols of the Passion of Christ have been chiseled, on the base of the priestly chalice with Pelican there are small garnet stones between the floral scrolls typical of the Baroque style.
